The Perfect Nude: Essie Sand Tropez

  ♥ Hello everyone!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my little posts about products and clothes I like and what I am up to in my life! I hope I can give some of you a few tips on makeup and fashion etc and I hope you enjoy your stay! xxx

So I've decided to start my blog with a little review of a nail polish I have been loving recently. It's the Essie Sand Tropez polish, which is a gorgeous camel kind of nude.

I am usually the type of person who can't wear any light colours on my nails, as I am not very confident about my fingers. They aren't very long and very thin which is why I always wear darker polishes, as they seem to elongate them and make them appear slimmer (weird thing, but that's just how i feel about it haha). I did experiment quite a lot with my nails, buying millions of different nail polishes, but I always tried to avoid the section with the nudes, even though I always admired the beautiful colours. However, with so many people (including celebrities and beauty gurus) raving about nude nail polishes, I thought I'd just try and give it a go and grabbed one of the bottles. In the end I wasn't brave enough to wear it after all, so it stayed in my drawer for about two months, gathering dust. I would have probably never used it, if I weren't searching for a voucher which I happened to put in the same place. Since I wasn't going anywhere that day I decided, that I might as well just try the nail polish on. I was absolutely blown away by everything: The colour was a gorgeous camel tone, which really complemented my skin, as it made it appear quite tan and also made my fingers look longer than usual (which was a miracle). The shine was amazing and it generally looked so chic and classy, that I had to admit how foolish I was for not wearing it before. I have been wearing nudes ever since and I love them to death.

As cheesy as it may sound, this little nail polish incident made quite an impact on my attitude towards life, as I realised that I didn't have to be afraid to try out something new, just because I convinced myself that it wouldn't be any good. I have been doing things I wouldn't normally say 'yes' to, and have been experimenting with my hair, makeup and clothes, and I have to say I am happier than ever!
